The main inspiration for my project this year came from The Skillful Huntsman. I think its only right to note that I drew upon "The Skillful Huntsman" as inspiration for this approach to developing my design skills. This has got to be the best concept art book out there! Doing silhouettes is kinda of a new thing for me and i think i have been doing it slightly wrong i going to go read over The skillful huntsman and see if i can get anything out of it! I'm always willing to work with someone creative. While covering this vast subject we covered character animation, which later bec The Skillful Huntsman Book Review. Do you have anyone/company you would like to collaborate/work together? Using the right size brushes, on the right size canvas really helps these silhouettes. It as a source of inspiration for character designs (and eventually vehicle, environments etc.). A book created by a tutor and 3 of his students at the art center college of design. I got the idea of the Skillful Huntsman, a book I got from design studio press. What they did was take a story from the brothers Grimm(The Skillful Huntsman) and make it into a production design project. Been a huge source of inspiration for many concept artists of this generation, contributing to a book which many have come to consider as a bible for how to go through an iterative concepting process: The Skillful Huntsman. I had seen it used a dozen times but finally it clicked when I read The Skillful Huntsman.
